Greetings in the Name of our Lord, Jesus!

A new year has begun and we find ourselves in the second month and moving forward.  We thought it a good idea to give you an update on the up-coming year and some near things that are happening.

We finished the year strong with your help.  Contributions have been steady and we have been able to continue our giving from the ministry to Israel, the local church, and individuals.  Thank all of you so much for your faithfulness to support SetFree.

The calendar is fast filling up with appointments and scheduled seminars.  We have several seminars scheduled, and we are glad to be training individuals at these seminars to minister in their churches or with our established teams. Speaking of established teams; the teams in Granbury and San Miguel are meeting the needs of individuals in their respective areas and their ministries are increasing greatly. We have seminars scheduled in both places to increase the number of individuals trained and to help them set up new teams.

Most of January and half of February has found Pat out of pocket with a family emergency and Margaret “holding down the fort” with the Arlington teams.  Margaret and Pat enjoy the team work and when one is gone, it interrupts the camaraderie that they share.  However, other ministers have stepped in and covered areas that needed to be covered in sessions, and the work goes on.  One thing we have learned;  our Father has us covered and Holy Spirit does the work; so, no matter who is in or out, people who come for ministry are getting the best that God has to offer in setting them free.

We believe this passage sums up our desire for those who seek ministry from SetFree:   II Cor. 5:11-21

“Because we understand our fearful responsibility to the Lord, we work hard to persuade others.  God knows we are sincere and we hope you know this too.  Are we commending ourselves to you again?  No, we are giving you a reason to be proud of us, so you can answer those who brag about having a spectacular ministry rather than having a sincere heart.  It if seems we are crazy, it is to bring glory to God.  And if we are in our right minds, it is for your benefit.  Either way, Christ’s love controls us.  Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life.  He died for everyone,  so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves.  Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.  So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view.  At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view.  How differently we know Him now!  This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person.  The old life is gone;  and a new life has begun!  And all this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ.  And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.  For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them.  And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.   So we are Christ’s ambassadors;  and God is making his appeal through us.  We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”  For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.”

We are so very thankful for each of you who understands our mission at SetFree and who partner with us through monetary gifts and prayer coverage.  If you are new to Setfree we would appreciate your prayers and if you are prompted to give monetarily, you may send contributions to:  SetFree, PO Box3503, Arlington, TX  76007, or you may give through PayPal on Prince of Peace website: www.pophop.org.  If you desire an appointment with SetFree for personal ministry, please contact our office, 817 274 5113, or e-mail at SetFree@pophop.org.

In HIS Service,

Pat and Margaret, and SetFree teams
