MIRACLES
Just open your eyes and look around you. Each and every one of us is a miracle of God. Our mere existence is one. Every story I learn about another person and how they came to Chirst truly is a revealed miracle of God.
I would like to share my story with you. The theme is nothing new. Once I was lost, but now I’m found, was blind, but now I see! As God, the Holy Spirit, works through a person’s prayers giving blessings, anointing and healing; Satan also works through a person’s innocence and replaces our heavenly birthright with spirits of shame, lust, rebellion and deviancy. Abuse in a person’s life corrupts and inflames the flesh, pushing us toward greater confusion and believing Satan’s lies.
As a child I was the victim of sexual abuse. Multiple counts, rarely the same person twice, so I simply felt like I had a target on my back saying hurt me, use me. I honestly believe that was the root of my ADHD. I was running scared. My spirit was so shattered that I felt fractured inside. I had to have constant distraction or I would go crazy.
As I grew up I became what is known as a hypocrite. I was very good at putting on my holy Hannah mask on Sundays and being the partier during the week. But God had a plan. I was blessed with a loving and strong Christian family. A woman came to my neighborhood and led Bible studies for kids. At a church camp I heard and repeated the message: “I am me, I am good, ‘cause God don’t make no junk!’; As a victim of sexual abuse I needed to hear that message. I felt like I was a piece of junk. On one level I lived a very normal, successful façade, but inside I was hurt, scared and afraid to love and be loved.
About 12 years ago, at the age of 40, I literally hit an emotional and spiritual bottom. When I had nowhere to turn I did a U-Turn and ran to Jesus! It began to Rain! Praise God, I learned that the victory is won! God had pre-arranged for many instruments of His grace to work miracles of progress in my life.
One of these instruments was SetFree Ministries. Each week Margaret and her ministry team suited up for spiritual warfare and claimed the victory in Jesus. Margaret led me through the checklist of curses and spiritual afflictions which I had carried for so long. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we chopped away all the roots and generational curses that lead me step by step through Jesus’ battle plan.
Today, I have been happily married (Who’d a thunk??) for two years. My wonderful husband, just like Jesus, loves me just as I am. God had uniquely prepared us for each other. Now I have a hope and a faith in God Almighty who has saved me from death and hell, both in this life and forever.
Since my new found freedom, I have been blessed with a wonderful Christian husband that I can share my life with. I am confident in who I am and know I am a child of God.
SETFREE, says it all!!
FORGIVENESSMargaret ministered to me for the first time about 2 ½ years ago. I was suffering from post-partum depression after my third child and dealing with unforgiveness and pain from my first marriage. After going through the ministry, I was able to completely forgive my first husband. I had tried to forgive him and believe I had forgiven him but realized during ministry that was not the case. The soul-tie was cut and the pain in my life was gone.
Since that time, I have been able to grow spiritually. It was like blinders were removed from my eyes and heart in many areas of my life. I am still seeing and feeling the changes today.
CORPORATE MINISTRY
Margaret and Pat have been coming to our business for several years to minister to our employees. During this time I have seen many lives changed. One employee was totally set free from alcoholism. Several employees have given their lives to the Lord. All who have been through SetFree’s ministry have been changed. The individuals who truly want to walk with God are the most drastically changed. They are able to forget what was in their past and live a free life.
On the day that they are to come, many of our employees wait to share their joys and their problems with Pat and Margaret. They know they have a safe place to discuss their problems and concerns at home or at work in complete confidentiality.
It has been wonderful having Margaret and Pat walk through the plant and be intercessors for our business. The climate has changed in the plant to one of peace and joy, as more and more people come to the Lord and are set free. God has certainly blessed our business and the people working in our business.
